About the project

The ECO MILE project addresses the pressing issue of unsustainable last-mile logistics in urban environments, focusing on the development of vocational education and training (VET) tools that promote environmentally-friendly practices. The project aims to empower VET trainers and logistics professionals with innovative resources to reduce carbon emissions and congestion from delivery systems.

Objectives

  • Raise awareness of the environmental impact of last mile logistics.
  • Promote sustainable logistics practices (e.g., efficient routing, eco-packaging).
  • Improve operational efficiency in last mile delivery.
  • Upskill logistics professionals through innovative training solutions.
  • Pilot hybrid training (online + in-person) in partner countries.
