CirculYOUNG

Circular Economy for YOUNG NEETs with a Migrant Background

About the project

CirculYOUNG is a transformative 24-month initiative designed to empower Youth NEETs (Not in Employment, Education or Training) with a migrant background across Ireland, Greece, Austria, and Italy. The project leverages the principles of circular economy to improve social inclusion, foster green skills, and boost employability. It addresses key EU and UN sustainability priorities through innovation, inclusion, and practical training programs tailored to the needs of disadvantaged youth.

Goals

Social & Economic Empowerment: Strengthen the capacity of Youth NEETs with migrant backgrounds to access meaningful employment by equipping them with green and entrepreneurial skills.

Circular Economy Education: Develop and deliver interactive, non-formal learning pathways focusing on circular practices, sustainable innovation, and community impact.

Capacity Building for Youth Workers: Train educators and community workers with innovative methodologies to support inclusive, sustainable development among marginalized youth.

Advocacy and Awareness: Foster wider societal awareness and influence public policy to integrate circular economy and green skills into youth training frameworks.
